Timing of Christ's Return:
No One Knows The Time: Matthew 24:36 But of that day and hour no one
knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone.

Live a Life Worthy of a Christian but be Alert: Mat 24:42 Therefore
be on the alert, for you do not know which day your Lord is coming. / Mat

Parallel of Noah's Day (Primary interest in satisfying desires): Mat
24:37-38 For the coming of the Son of Man will be just like the days of
Noah. For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking,
marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark,
see Gen 6 (appetites of their bodies became their master)
Revival? Luke 18:8 I tell you that He will bring about justice for
them quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on

Signs of Christ's Near Arrival:
Wars and Rumours of War: Matthew 24:6-8 You will be hearing of wars
and rumors of wars. See that you are not frightened, for those things must
take place, but that is not yet the end. For nation will rise against nation,
and kingdom against kingdom, and in various places there will be famines
and earthquakes. But all these things are merely the beginning of birth
pangs.
Lack of Love / Lawlessness: Matthew 24:12 Because lawlessness is
increased, most people's love will grow cold.
Signs: Luke 21:25 There will be signs in sun and moon and stars, and on
the earth dismay among nations, in perplexity at the roaring of the sea
and the waves,
Persecution / Tribulation and False Prophets: Matthew 24:9-11 Then
they will deliver you to tribulation, and will kill you, and you will be
hated by all nations because of My name. At that time many will fall away
and will betray one another and hate one another.
False Prophets: Matthew 24:11 Many false
prophets will arise and will mislead many.
Christ's Warning (Watch Out For False Christs & False Teaching):

My name, saying, "I am the Christ,' and will mislead many....So if
they say to you, "Behold, He is in the wilderness,' do not go out,

False Christs Will Produce Signs / Wonders & Spurious Teaching:
Matthew 24:24 For false Christs and false prophets will arise and will
show great signs and wonders, so as to mislead, if possible, even the elect.

Gospel Must Be Preached First: Mat 24:14 This gospel of the kingdom shall
be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then
the end will come.
Abomination: Mat 24:15 Therefore when you see the ABOMINATION OF
DESOLATION which was spoken of through Daniel the prophet, standing in

Lawless One Will Exalt Self: II Thes 2-4 Let no one in any way deceive
you, for it will not come unless the apostasy comes first, and the man
of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, who opposes and exalts
himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes
his seat in the temple of God, displaying himself as being God. / Rev 13:5-6
Restraint Lifted: 2 Thess 2:6 And you know what restrains him now,
so that in his time he will be revealed.

Days of Tributlation Shortened: Mark 13:20 Unless the Lord had shortened
those days, no life would have been saved; but for the sake of the elect,

Christ Will Come When We Least Expect Him: Mat 24:50-51 the master
of that slave will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an
hour which he does not know, and will cut him in pieces and assign him
a place with the hypocrites; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing

Christ's Appearing:
He Will Come Like A Thief (When We Least Expect It): 1 Thes 5:2 For
you yourselves know full well that the day of the Lord will come just like
a thief in the night.
Coming of Christ Will Be Sudden: Matthew 24:37-39 For the coming
of the Son of Man will be just like the days of Noah. For as in those days
before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in
marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and they did not understand
until the flood came and took them all away; so will the coming (parousia) of the Son of Man be. /

Reaction of The World: Mat 24:30-"and then the sign of the

The Resurrection of the Dead:
Resurrection at Christ's Coming : Mat 24:40-42 Then there will be two
men in the field; one will be taken and one will be left. Two women will
be grinding at the mill; one will be taken and one will be left. Therefore
be on the alert, for you do not know which day your Lord is coming.
The Dead Will Rise Followed By The Believers (Body & Spirit United):
1 Thes 4:16-17 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a
shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and
the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain will
be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air,
and so we shall always be with the Lord.
Believers Will Be Taken By Christ At His Return: 1 Thes 4:17 Then
we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the

If People Are Already Raptured How Can They Eagerly Await Him?: Heb
9:28 so Christ also, having been offered once to bear the sins of many,

Great Gathering of The Elect: Matthew 24:31 And He will send forth
His angels with A GREAT TRUMPET and THEY WILL GATHER TOGETHER His elect

Father & Son Physically Present on
Earth (Rulership and Thrones)
Christ Is Physically Present During The Millenium: Zech 14:4 In that
day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, which is in front of Jerusalem
on the east; and the Mount of Olives will be split in its middle from east
to west by a very large valley, so that half of the mountain will move
toward the north and the other half toward the south. / Acts 1:9,11-12

Judgement:
Gathering Around Christ and His Throne: Mat 25:31-33 But when the Son
of Man comes in His glory, and all the angels with Him, then He will sit
on His glorious throne. All the nations will be gathered before Him; and
He will separate them from one another, as the shepherd separates the sheep
from the goats; and He will put the sheep on His right, and the goats on
the left.
Rewards: Mat 24:46-47 Blessed is that slave whom his master finds
so doing when he comes. Truly I say to you that he will put him in charge
of all his possessions.
Punishments: 2 Thess 1:9 These will pay the penalty of eternal destruction,
away from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power, Mat
24:50-51 / II Thes 1:8 / II Thes 2:9-12
Lawless One (Signs and Wonders) To Be Punished: 2 Thes 2:8-9 Then
that lawless one will be revealed whom the Lord will slay with the breath
of His mouth and bring to an end by the appearance of His coming; that
is, the one whose coming is in accord with the activity of Satan, with
all power and signs and false wonders,
Lukewarm Person Has No Place: Rev 3:15-16 I know your deeds, that
you are neither cold nor hot; I wish that you were cold or hot. So because
you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of My mouth.
