God's Character
| Holiness: Holiness is that perfection of God whereby He abhors that which is evil and demands purity.(1) |
| 1 Pet 1:16 for it is written:"Be holy, because I am holy." |
| Justice: Justice is the attribute if God by which He caries out the laws that He has imposed. (2) |
| Hos 12:6 ...maintain love and justice |
| Righteousness: Righteousness is the attribute that causes God to always do right.(3) |
| Neh 9:7-12 You are the LORD God...You have kept your promise because you are righteous. |
| Love: Love is the attribute which moves God to communicate His concern for the ultimate welfare of ones that He loves.(4) |

| Mercy: Mercy is God's compassion for the sinner in not giving him what he deserves(5) |

| Grace: Grace is unmerited goodness and love of God for those who have forfeited it.(6) |
| Eph 2:8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith - and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God |
| Goodness: This attribute of God is revealed in His bountiful dealing with mankind.(7) |
| Psa 145:9 The Lord is good to all; he has compassion on all he has made. |
| Truth: God cannot lie nor tolerate untruth.(8) |
