The Creator!
JESUS CREATED ALL THINGS | GOD CREATED ALL THINGS |
Jn 1:1-3 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. Col 1:16 For by him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him. Heb 1:1-2 but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom he made the universe. |
Gen 1:1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth Gen 1:2 Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters Isa 44:24...I am the LORD, who has made all things, who alone stretched out the heavens, who spread out the earth by myself. Isa 40:28...The Lord is the everlasting God the creator of the ends of the earth.... Pa 102:24-27...your years go on through all generations. In the beginning you laid the foundations of the earth, and the heavens are the work of your hands. They will perish, but you will remain; they will all wear out like a garment. Like clothing you will change them and they will be discarded. But you remain the same and your years will never end |
Did in fact Jesus create everything?(1) Jn 1:3 "All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being." |
Isaiah 44:24 states that God created all things by himself! |
If Jesus created everything, then why does it say that the Lord (Jehovah in the Hebrew) did it by Himself?(2) |
The only answer is that Jehovah is not simply the name of the Father.... Therefore, since Jesus is God in flesh, it could be said that Jesus created all things and that Jehovah did it alone.(3) |
Read Col. 1:15-17 and omit the word 'other.' The New World Translation has for some reason included 'other' when it is clearly not needed.(4) |
Col 1:15-18 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities by him and for him. He is before all things, and in him, all things hold together. And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy. | Question: If Jesus is the image of the invisible God then who is he? (see verses above) Question: Why would all things be held together by him(Jesus)? Only God can do this...what does this make Jesus? Note: If all things were created by him(Jesus) then he could not be created! (see Jn 1:3) Note: All power and authority are under him! |
