First...How Did Christ Leave and What Was The Indication of How He Would Return?

Acts 1:9 And after He had said these things, He was lifted up while they were looking on, and a cloud received Him out of their sight.

Acts 1:11 They (angels) also said, Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into the sky? This Jesus, who has been taken up from you into heaven, will come in just the same way as you have watched Him go into heaven.

1. He was lifted up in the sky, a cloud received him out of their sight

2. The Key: Jesus who was taken into heaven will come back the same way the disciples watched Him go into heaven.

How Will He Come Back? (just reverse the verses)

1. He was hidden from our eyes because he is now in heaven

2. There will be an unmistakable cry from an angel.

3. There will be a trumpet fanfare such as never been heard.

4. Believers in Christ who are dead will rise from their graves.

5. Believers who are alive will be caught up in the clouds to meet Christ.(1)
