What Does God Require of Us?
Questions for Lesson 2
Who Is God?
Lesson 2.3: Jehovah has a body, but it is not like ours. "God is
a Spirit, " says the Bible. (John 4:24) A spirit is a form of life
that is much high than ours.
Read John 4:24!
Q: Is God a spirit or THE spirit? What does the Bible ACTUALLY state?
According to other translations : NASB / NIV / NAS (John 4:24) God is
spirit...
Q: Is there anything in this scripture that indicates that God
has a body? see John 4:24
Q: Is God a 'form of life' or that which ALL life springs forth? Can
we really think of God as simply a higher form of life? Should would not
have greater respect for the God of the universe?
Q: Can you tell me what 'spirit' is or the material that spirit possesses?
Q: Do spirits generally have bodies?
Q: According to Col 1:15 & 1 Tim 1:17 Jehovah is invisible, and
there is no mention of a body...should we trust the accurate statements
in the Bible or instead the WTS view?
Q: According to Isa 57:15 / Ps 139:7-8 Heb 13:5 / Isa 44:3 / Isa 48:16
/ Isa 42:1 / Isa 32:15 / Isa 59:21 / Isa 11:2 and Isa 66:1 Yahweh can be
present in more than one place...how then can God be confined to
a body?
Consider Jeremiah 23:24 " Can a man hide himself in secret places
so that I cannot see him? says the LORD. Do I not fill heaven and earth?
says the LORD." and Isaiah 57:15 "For thus says the high and
exalted One Who lives forever, whose name is Holy, I dwell on a high
and holy place, And also with the contrite and lowly of spirit
In order to revive the spirit of the lowly And to revive the heart of the
contrite. "
Q: How can a body fill heaven and earth?
Q: According to Jer 23:24 what does God fill?
Q: How can God dwell on high and with the lowly in spirit if He has
a body?

Q: Is the 'Reasoning' brochure not presumptuous to go beyond scriptures
to conclude that God has a body?
Q: What would you prefer to trust...the bible which implies that God
fills heaven and earth ora man made brochure which states that God
has a body?
Q: Are you aware that your 'Jehovah' of the Watchtower has many
attributes as the pagan and Mormon god? He is finite and confined to a
body much like Zeus and his fellow deities. The God of the Watchtower can
only be in once place at one time. He is therefore limited. Incidently
'his' spirit seems to have great abilities (is not confined) than Jehovah!
Why is the God of the Bible so much more superior?
