Who Is Jesus Christ?
Lesson 3.3: By disobeying God's command, the first Adam, committed what
the Bible calls "sin." So God sentenced him to death. ....That
is why we also grow old, get sick and die.
Q: Carefully read the Genesis account...is physical death the only
repercussion of sin? (Why is the WTS publication relating only half of
the story????)
Q: Review "Genesis 2:17 but from the tree of the knowledge
of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat from it
you will surely die. " Did Adam and Eve die physically on the day
of eating the forbidden fruit as God stated? (Remember, Adam continued
to live for several centuries)
Q: What kind of death was God expressing? (spiritual death)
